1. Information we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. When you purchase, our payment processor (PayPal) handles your payment details — we never see or store card numbers. We also store your learning progress so you can resume where you left off.
2. How we use it
To operate your membership: authenticating your login, granting access to purchased content, saving progress and quiz results, sending transactional emails (welcome, receipts), and — for members — weekly educational updates summarizing course modules and your progress. Every such email contains a one-click opt-out link, and email preferences can be changed anytime in account settings. We also collect anonymous page-view analytics (a random visitor identifier cookie) to understand how our public pages perform. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Third-party services
Account data (username, hashed password, learning progress, and quiz results keyed to your member ID) is stored in our own site database. Payments are processed by PayPal, and site delivery is handled by our hosting provider — each processes data under its own privacy policy and appropriate safeguards.
4. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required to keep you securely logged in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Data retention & your rights
We retain account data while your account exists. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@bearbankroll.com. Deleting your account ends your access to purchased content.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, row-level database security, and protected member routes. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for defense in depth.
